“Epigenetik” is part three of a series consisting of “Neuroplatizität”, “Synaptogense” and “Epigenetik”. The three paintings portray the desire and hope to heal from individual, collective and ancestral trauma through rewiring of the neurons, synapses and finally gens. The paintings are multi-layered, every layer attempting to rewire another layer till the result captures a satisfying state for the artist.
