Christie’s 20th and 21st Century auction 20071

Interesting results at Christie’s during the week of Frieze in London, 15 October 2021.
The auction – 20th/21st Century: Evening Sale Including Thinking Italian – has realized £64,561,000 / $88,254,887 / €75,923,736, selling the 90 per cent by lot and the 92 per cent by value.
The art market of the greatest artists has always interests but this often means new vibrations for everyone involved in this sector from culture to business.
One new world record has been registered for Hurvin Anderson’s Audition work.

Hurvin Anderson (1965) Audition, signed, inscribed and dated ‘HURVIN ANDERSON FEB 98’ (on the stretcher), oil on canvas, 68 1/8 x 100 1/8in. (175.5 x 254.2cm.). Painted in February 1998.
